Malibu Village Shopping Center Sold to Real Estate Investment Group.
The Malibu Village shopping center has reportedly been sold to Jamestown, a real estate investment group based in Atlanta. This center is one the main hubs for all things commercial in Malibu, has Malibu’s only movie theater, tons of shopping at stores as diverse as Banana Republic, Salvation, and one of the coolest Levi’s stores on the planet, as well as some of Malibu’s best restaurants.
The complex is reported to be about 50,000 sf and sits at Cross Creek Road and Pacific Coast Highway, which also happen to be the cross streets for my main Prudential Malibu Realty office, although we own our location and were not part of the sale. This is also close to Malibu Road, Malibu Colony, Surfrider State Beach, and the recently renovated Malibu Creek State Park.
No price has been confirmed for the sale as of yet but it is being rumored at $120,000,000.
