Opposite of Broad Beach, Trancas winds gently away from the ocean and has a wide variety of properties.

The lower section is primarily ranch homes, many of which have incredible ocean views and include rights to the Malibu West Beach Club. There are also condominiums on Tapia, which also have beach rights and are an excellent entry point for those seeking a convenient Western Malibu location.

After passing Trancas Canyon Park, an amazing place for families and dog owners to enjoy the outdoors, the Trancas Highlands neighborhood features larger homes and some of Malibu's most impressive coastline views along Zuma and out to Point Dume. These homes, many architectural or newly built, are private compounds on larger, usually steeper, lots that do not have the beach club rights of those below.
